Congratulations to Dr. Tucker Drury, who won the High Reliability Organization award!
Dr. Drury consistently goes above and beyond to keep Mat-Su Regional patients safe. He performs team checks by using the safe procedure review with the surgery team prior to incision to ensure everything is correct before every surgery. He impacts our quality and safety at the hospital by being a physician member on the Quality Committee and the Patient Safety Committee where he speaks up for safety and assists in vocalizing and working through challenges throughout the facility. Dr. Drury's focus on safety every time he works with patients and staff has earned him hospital recognition as the 4th quarter HRO champion.
