The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is working with Mat-Su Regional Medical Center to prepare for a potential coronavirus outbreak in Alaska.
Tracey Loscar, emergency medical services chief, addressed the Mat-Su Assembly on Tuesday night. She said Mat-Su Regional is not able to test for the COVID-19 virus but can send samples to Anchorage to be tested.
