City of Wasilla issued the following announcement on February 18.
The application period for City Council Seat F closed today, February 18, at 5:00 p.m.. The following candidates have applied for appointment to the vacant seat:
Bozer, Jo Lynn
Crafton, Ian
Peevey, Dusty Joe
Rubeo, Alina
Shields, Tammy
Stafford, Todd
Through an interview process, the City Council is scheduled to fill the vacancy at the March 14, City Council meeting.
The appointed candidate will immediately assume office and serve until October 2022, when the seat is filled by election.

Clerk’s Note: Seat F was vacated by former Council Member James Harvey upon his resignation from the City Council, effective midnight on January 24, 2022. Mr. Harvey and his family are relocating out of Wasilla.
