City of Palmer issued the following announcement on March 2.
On March 2, 2022, Palmer Police arrested ERIN P. SIMPSON, age 41 of
Wasilla, on a warrant for Leaving the Scene of a Collision and No Liability
Insurance. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial where bail was set at
$100.00 per the warrant.
On March 2, 2022, Palmer Police arrested MITCHELL D. FREEMAN, age 43
of Wasilla, for the charges of Assault in the 2nd degree Domestic Violence,
Assault in the 4th degree Domestic Violence, and Criminal Mischief in the 5th
degree Domestic Violence. MITCHELL was to Mat-Su Pretrial where he was
held on no bail per the bail schedule.
On March 2, 2022, Palmer Police investigated a drug possession call at
Palmer High School. A report of Misconduct Involving Controlled
Substances 4 was sent to the Division of Juvenile Justice against a 17-yearold male student.
On March 5, 2022, Palmer Police arrested MARK A. LEON, age 51 of
Wasilla, for Driving Under the Influence. LEON was issued a Summons and
released per the bail schedule.
On March 5, 2022, Palmer Police arrested RONALD W. PASSARELLA, age
34 of Palmer, for Driving Under the Influence and Misconduct Involving a
Weapon in the 4th Degree. PASSARELLA was issued a Summons and
released per the bail schedule.
On March 6, 2022, Palmer Police arrested NICHOLAS R. SCHULTZ, age 27
of Wasilla, for Driving Under the Influence. SCHULTZ was issued a
Summons and released per the bail schedule.
