In 2015, KYUK Public Media in Bethel put together this short video that does a great job of explaining the River Watch mission. We encourage all residents in river communities, with a spring break-up flood potential, to get better prepared.
Talk about the flood risk in your community, protect your vehicles by moving them to higher ground, make a family emergency plan, have a go-bag ready with essential supplies, and gather critical paperwork like deeds, titles, birth certificates, insurance info, and identification.
