Knik Goose Bay Road MP 14.7 6/4/22 7 p.m. UPDATE: We had to bring in additional material this afternoon, which took some extra time. Crews are finishing up embankment, and structural section and then paving. We anticipate reopening Sunday morning.
6/4/22 8 a.m. UPDATE: Crews worked on the Southbound lanes until 3 am. Replacement crew started on Northbound lanes early this morning. We are anticipating reopening the road to traffic late tonight. Will post updates as they become available.
6/3/22 11:51 p.m. UPDATE: Construction crews are still working on the pipe failure. They will reopen the road once repairs are complete. Thank you for your continued patience.
