There are only a few days left to submit your harvest report for your 2022 Upper Cook Inlet permit!!!
If you have already submitted your report, a BIG THANK YOU! If you have not, the clock is ticking! Report by 11:59 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2022, so you are not denied a permit in 2023. You can report online here https://harvest.adfg.alaska.gov/
Please help spread the word and share this post, text or call family and friends to make sure they have submitted their harvest report whether they went dipnetting or not. If you proxy dipnetted for someone, please make sure their harvest was reported. Be a good neighbor, friend, and family member.
If you reported through the ADF&G mobile app, you can still verify that your harvest was accepted by also going to the online harvest reporting webpage. https://harvest.adfg.alaska.gov/ It will list the days you fished. If you need more info than that, stop by your local ADF&G office or give them a call. Offices are open Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.
Looking for another way to put your salmon away for the winter besides freezing and smoking it? or maybe you found a couple packets from last season while organizing it for this years harvest? Give canning a try. Check out this ADF&G YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1gQJczwplk
