The 2022 Alaska State Fair is just a few days away. Leading up to Friday, some traffic signs have started to pop up all around the roads near the fair. These are all part of a DOT traffic plan.
This is a notice, if there are signs posted, even if they’re temporary, they are the current traffic laws. They’re valid at ALL times of day, even when the fair is closed. They apply to everyone, including the fair vendors and employees. The main goal for the traffic plan is to provide safety for everyone involved, from the extra vehicular traffic to the large number of pedestrians.
