10/21/22 This handsome pup is Teddy! Teddy came to the shelter as a stray and defaulted to borough property. Teddy has been a frequent flyer at the shelter and does love to run. His new owner should always supervise him when outdoors (even in a fenced in area), or have him on a leash or secure tie-out. Since he was a stray, we do not know his history on how he does with children or other animals. Teddy has seemed very playful with his doggy neighbors while at the shelter. Please make sure you are doing slow, safe, and controlled introductions with new animals for the best outcome. Teddy does have a lot of energy and it might not be liked by all. Teddy has done a decent job at keeping his kennel clean (accident free) indicating that he may be housebroken. He may need some reminders as he settles into his new home. Teddy has been super sweet towards his animal tenders, and we would love to help match him with the perfect home! If you are interested in meeting Teddy, please give the shelter a call!
