With a record 40.58% voter turnout, the 2022 Matanuska-Susitna Borough Regular Election was Certified today in an Assembly Special Meeting. A detailed report was given by the Canvass Board Chair, Tereasa Thompson. The Canvass Board spent nearly two full weeks working through the ballots. Long hours were put in, ranging from 11-14 hour days over the weekends. Following the report, Tim Hale was sworn-in for his second term by Clerk, Lonnie McKechnie.
