Snow will begin this afternoon across Cook Inlet and the Susitna Valley & will spread east to Prince William Sound overnight tonight and eventually reach the Copper River Basin early Thursday morning.
Brief periods of heavier snow are possible for Anchorage Bowl & Matanuska Valley where 1-3" may fall in just a few hours.
Expecting this snow to be the light & fluffy kind, which will be easily lofted. Motorists should use caution as this may reduce visibility on the roads. #AKwx
