Wasilla City Council

May 22, 2023, Regular Meeting 

Notice is hereby given that the Wasilla City Council will hold a public hearing on the following legislation at its regular meeting of May 22, 2023. The meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. and is held at Wasilla City Hall, Council Chambers, 290 E Herning Avenue, Wasilla, Alaska. 

  1. Ordinance Serial No. 23-16Amending The Fiscal Year 2023 Budget By Accepting And Appropriating A Safety Grant From Alaska Public Entity Insurance In The Amount Of $3,300 For Safety Equipment For The Parks Maintenance Department.
  2. Ordinance Serial No. 23-23: Providing For The Adoption Of The Annual Budget For Fiscal Year 2024 And Appropriating Funds To Carry Out Said Budget. (Second Public Hearing on May 24, 2023)

How to Testify. The public may provide testimony in person at the meeting. Comments are limited to three minutes per person. Written comments are due by noon the day of the meeting via email to clerk@cityofwasilla.gov or delivered to the Clerk's Office, 290 E Herning Avenue. Written comments will be distributed in written form only and not read aloud at the meeting. 

The meeting agenda and packet will be available online and for examination at the City Clerk’s by 5:00 p.m. five days prior to the meeting.
