Census Bureau: More men than women in Houston city in 2019

Of the 1,977 people living in Houston city in 2019, 47.6 percent (942) were women and 52.4 percent (1,035) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Mat-Su Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 651-to-600. In the 65 and over age range, there were 121 females and 124 males.
